I so love eBay because of the cheap finds that you can find. I've bought a lot of stuff there before especially make-up items. Another good thing about eBay is that you can always find brands that are not available in the mall. Take for example, Rimmel. I've always wanted to try their 16-hr Cool Matte Moussse foundation but it's not available here in the Philippines. Good thing, I was able to see it on eBay. Of course, I didn't pass on the chance of buying it and at such an affordable price too! So here's my eBay haul today.. Oh, by the way, I also bought this Revlon Mineral Mousse foundation on eBay. You really can't beat the prices these online sellers offer! I am one happy girl again! yippee!

UPDATED: What;s in My Make Up Kit
What's in my make up kit changes every time depending on my mood and where I'm going. Lately though, these are what I bring with me when I go out.
I like this make up pouch because I get to put a lot of stuff in it. So let's go through what's inside - my trusty comb, edm flat top brush, edm angled blush brush, maybelline colorsensational lipstick in buff and cozy tangerine, Fashion 21 2-way cake with tea tree oil (which i really like!), ELF concealer in apricot beige, ELF eyebrow kit in dark, nivea cherry lip balm, Estee Lauder Magnascopic mascara, Estee Lauder Pure Color Long Lasting Lipstick in Pink Parfait, Avon eyebrow pencil, In2it gel liner pencil, and Lancome powder blush in Rose Fresque. As you can see, I always bring like 3-4 lip products with me.. Dunno why since I don't really get to use all of them in a day but I just like having them handy. I guess most women do keep several lipsticks in their pouch.. So what do you have on your make up kits, ladies?

revlon photoready
i know i've been MIA for a few months now.. i haven't been posting anything lately but i'm still definitely around, just reading your blogs and all..
anyhoo, i'm still torn whether i'm going to buy revlon's photoready liquid foundation. I've been reading mixed reviews about it. some say it actually makes your skin look flawless but there are some who say it's not good for a daytime make up. they say it makes you look like a member of the Cullen family because of the shimmers.
anyway, to satisfy my curiosity about the product, i went and test it at the revlon make up counter at sm makati. it's definitely easier to blend than revlon colorstay, that's for sure. as for the stay-on factor, i'm not sure of that yet since i had to remove it after a couple of hours. i wasn't able to test it in natural light either since it was already 6pm when i applied it on my face. by the way, i tried the nude shade. here's a picture of me with the product on.. i'm actually thinking of buying it since i'm due to attend a wedding sometime in May.. Hmm.. what do you think, girls? need your opinion..

Mini Mid-Week Haul
I ordered some stuff from eBay and these stuff came in the mail last Thursday.
Finally got hold of Milani Luminous. I've been checking eBay everyday for a month to see if this will be available again. So when I saw this on eBay, of course I couldn't pass up the chance to buy it right away. Yey! I tried it that same day when I went to meet my friend for dinner and it's really nice. It gives you that natural flushed look with a hint of shimmer to it but not too much that it will emphasize your pores. Only drawback is that it's not that pigmented. I had to do 3 swipes of this on each cheek just to make it visible.
Also saw this SanSan mosaic blush in RSV pink. It's really cheap. You can buy this at HBC for around 110Php (less than $3). Surprisingly, it's very pigmented and I love it!
I also heard a lot of good things about Avon Magix that I've decided to give it a try. And I can definitely see what the rave is all about. I've been using it for 2 days now and I can say that I'm very satisfied with it. It has the same consisitency as MAC prep+prime eye. It really keeps my makeup on for the entire day. I swear, I didn't even have to retouch or use oil blots during my entire shift (and I work an 11-hr shift, mind you!).
The pen and the Ponds face cream are just freebies that I got. I don't really use Ponds coz it makes me breakout so I just gave it away. But I'm definitely one happy girl this week!

Typhoon Ondoy and Its Aftermath
Our country is still facing the devastation caused by Typhoon Ondoy. According to the experts, this has been the strongest typhoon to hit the country in 40 years.
I was at home when the typhoon hit the country. Though a lot of the cities were flooded, thankfully our subdivision was not. I was still scared though because hubby went to Tagaytay for a convention on Friday and was supposed to come home that Saturday. Eventually, their bosses decided to just make them stay at the hotel for another day rather than risk travelling home. I was alone at the house with our dog and when I turned on the TV, I found out that a lot of people were already being evacuated and a lot more are still waiting to be rescued. Suddenly, I stopped worrying about me being alone at the house where I'm perfectly safe. There are other people who are going through the most difficult times of their lives at that exact moment. I just prayed that the rain will stop and that they can be rescued soon.
Let's all take the time to pray for those who lost their families and properties in that typhoon. This is the time when we must do everything we can to reach out and help our fellow Filipinos.

Olay TE Review
This review is actually long overdue. I got sidetracked with a lot of things so I'm doing this just now.
I bought Olay TE cleanser and Olay TE 7-in-1 anti-ageing cream about a month ago. I was really excited about these products that I immediately tried them right after I got home and I liked what I saw for the first couple of days of using them. I wake up in the morning with my face being less oily than it used to be. However, after a week of using Olay TE, I noticed some rashes on my face and some white bumps developing on my chin. Now, I'm not really sure if it was caused by Olay TE or by Maybelline's full-coverage foundation because those two are the only new products I've been using. It could also be a reaction to using both so just for good measure, I stopped using them for a week. I allowed my skin to heal and breathe and resumed using Olay after a week. So far, so good. I haven't had any recurrence of those rashes or whiteheads and hoped that won't happen again since Olay TE is kinda expensive. I might try their White Radiance line after I finished this since that has been getting better reviews than Olay TE.
With the Maybelline Full-Coverage foundation, I just used it twice since I resumed using Olay TE and so far, it doesn't cause any more breakouts on my skin. I still hate the smell though! Eek! I might do a separate review on this though..
So how's your weekend so far, ladies? :)

Beauty Essentials
Went to the mall last Thursday and decided to try these products. I saw Thiamere of on beauty stuff and what else's mention Nivea Anti-Wrinkle Q10+ eye cream and Kojie-san Kojic soap before and I'm really excited to see how they'll work for me. I hope I get good results.
The Himalaya Neem Face Pack was just something that caught my eye while I was browsing thru some stuff at Watson's. I'm not really into facial masks since I'm too impatient but since watching a few reviews on Youtube about other facial masks, I've decided to give it a try. It says on the packaging that this is for oily and acne-prone skin. Hmm.. let's see what it'll do for me. I'll probably make a review in a month or so.
It's my off from work today and hubby and I are gonna do some grocery shopping later. Who knows what I'll end up buying.. teehee!

Mini Haul
I went to Glorietta last Friday to meet my hubby and it turned out that they had a sale going on at that time. Anyhoo, I didn't really visit the stores there but went to Landmark instead to look at some accessories but I didn't find anything that I like so I decided to just wait for hubby at Tsoko Nut (which is my fave hang-out at SM Makati). I passed by the Broadway Gems stall at Glorietta and I saw this sign that says 20Php for each pair of earrings. Of course I couldn't resist checking it out. And I got these:
Pretty cheap huh?
Oh and I went to SM Southmall for grocery shopping last Sunday and I dropped by Book Sale and look at what I found! I got this for a mere 148Php.
