Pasalubong and Mid-Week Haul

My aunt came from the US for a visit and she gave me this, among other stuff. It's the Liplicious lip colour from Bath and Body Works. It's really nice. It's double-ended. On one side is the Brown Sugar Scrub which is supposed to smoothen your lips and on the other end is a flavored lip color. I got pomegranate. The color is really nice and it tastes yummy too.

Went to Southmall yesterday to buy the elf elements eyeshadows and customized my own palette. But since some of the colors I was looking for were not available, I ended up purchasing this instead. It was on sale according to the SA. From around 500 bucks, they lowered it to Php375. Now I know that there were a lot of people who were not satisfied with this product because, according to them, the e/s are a bit chalky. But I figured that it will be good enough for me to practice on. I'm not really an expert on applying makeup so this will be enough for me to hone that skill (wish!). There are actually some colors that are really nice when i swatched them and I might try them tom when I go to work.

I also got the ELF Duo Eyeshadow Cream in Butter Pecan. I've been meaning to get this for the longest time but it's always OOS. Good thing it was available when I visited the elf stall yesterday. I'll get the Black Licorice next time since it wasn't available then.

I also got some other stuff like Fashion 21 black liquid eyeliner. I'm still in search for the best waterproof eyeliner since I started wearing contacts again and this was highly recommended by a lot of our sisses from Girltalk. I also got the Nichido sheer lipstick in Pink Ice (another recommended item from GT). It has shea butter and feels really good on the lips. The color is also really nice, very subtle. Another item I got was Avon Advanced Eye Perfector. Just hope it can help in removing some wrinkles that I'm starting to get around the eye area.

So that's it for this week. Have a happy weekend people! :)

That's a great idea to buy a cheap palette to practice with.:) I might do that myself since I know almost zilch about make-up! Thanks.:)
